Happy 2 month Birthday!

July 17th was Baby G's 2 month birthday! He is getting bigger by the day, and is now wearing a few 3-6 months things. He's about to graduate to a 1-2 diaper, and I'm sure it won't be long until he's in a solid 2. He grins at us a lot now, and is sleeping 8-9 hours most nights. He was 11 lbs, 5.5 oz at last check. He enjoys hanging out w/ friends and talking on the phone...ok, just kidding. He likes being held, looking at lights, and watching Baby Einstein (he will watch a whole video - bless him!). We think he's a sweetie!

This is the life

The Bean & my nephew Evan had a popsicle at Mimi & Grandpaw's house this weekend. By the time it was finished, she was covered in green & had to be put directly in the tub. Things like this is probably why she'd probably rather live w/ them!! Mommy is usually not so fun when it comes to getting messy. :)

The Sweat Skort 2

Okay... two of you requested pics. So here it is in all it's glory - the sweat skort. But I didn't take a picture of me in it...come on, a girl's gotta retain a little self-respect! It's one thing to wear it to Target or somewhere, and it's another to publish a photo of one wearing it online for all to see! (P.S. It has shorts under it, hence making it a "skort.")

The Sweat Skort

I know that nobody loses their baby weight immediately, but I think I've reached a new personal fashion low in the post-baby "I-have-nothing-that-fits" phase...the sweat skort. That's right, the sweat skort. I bought it at Costco (THE fashion metropolis, don't you know?) for $15, and I love it. I wear it all the time b/c it fits and is comfortable.

PLEASE somebody submit me for What Not to Wear!! Send the fashion police after me! Help!

Some decent pics of Baby G!

Here are some recent attempts at taking a decent pic of Baby G. He is 7 1/2 weeks old now, just about sleeping through the night (usually 6-8 hours a night, and sometimes 9 or 10), and starting to smile at us. He's in a size one diaper now, so he's "officially" not a newborn anymore. We are enjoying him!
